Investment Development Consultants
We are looking for individuals to work with our Partner firms to design, deliver and embed advisory services using the latest technology and tools available in the marketplace. The ideal candidates will have a sound understanding of the financial planning process, as well as in-depth knowledge of the investment and product marketplace, and in particular platforms and technology.
As the successful candidate will be working with professional advisers, we would prefer the candidate to be qualified up to Diploma level or equivalent. Paradigm has a market-leading training scheme and support will be given for the candidate wishing to progress further and up to Chartered level. You will work closely with our regulatory consultants on FSA related themes and a basic understanding of current compliance issues would be very beneficial.
The successful candidate will be expected to work away on frequent occasions and there will be travel involved. It is essential that you can manage your time well, deliver within agreed timescales and be prepared to sometimes work under pressure.

Regulatory Consultancy
Technical Services Adviser – Helpdesk / Policy / Technical - (Head Office Based)
We are looking to further expand our Technical Services team and we currently have vacancies available for individuals with a broad range of regulatory experience and/or a technical background. Based at our Headquarters in Wilmslow, the ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in an FSA regulatory environment and have experience of dealing with a wide range of regulatory issues on behalf of independent financial advisers including financial promotions, general and technical queries and policy issues. Holding the full Financial Planning Certificate qualification and CeMAP (or equivalent) is essential, whilst holding other “H” or “J” subjects (or equivalent) is preferred. In addition, the move to higher professional qualifications is fully encouraged and supported, up to and including chartered status.
Technical Services Adviser – Monitoring - (Head Office Based)
We are also looking to further expand our Technical Services monitoring team and we currently have vacancies available for experienced file monitoring staff. Based at our Headquarters in Wilmslow, the ideal candidate will have a strong regulatory background, either as a paraplanner or financial adviser, and have previous experience of monitoring a broad spectrum of business conducted by independent financial advisers. Holding the full Financial Planning Certificate qualification and CeMAP (or equivalent) is essential, whilst holding other “H” or “J” subjects (or equivalent) is preferred. In addition, the move to higher professional qualifications is fully encouraged and supported, up to and including chartered status. Please note that some travel may be required as part of this role.
Business Consultant - (Field Based)
Due to our continued growth we are also looking to recruit Field Based Business Consultants to cover various locations across the UK. Our Business Consultants provide face to face regulatory consultancy support which is bespoke to each of our individual firms needs. Experience of developing professional client relationships and delivering excellent service on a face to face basis is therefore vital. Holding the full Financial Planning Certificate qualification and CeMAP (or equivalent) is essential, whilst holding other “H” or “J” subjects (or equivalent) is preferred.
