Twelve months ago I think we were all in agreement as predicting 2012 as being a year of change and challenge and it hasn’t disappointed. With the Retail Distribution Review  now with us it is amazing to think back to its launch 5 years ago, shortly after our own launch, and the sceptical reception it received from many parties. Very little from the original consultation paper has changed, with the exception that it is now clear that the people facing the biggest challenges arising from it is not the adviser as first thought, but product providers and fund management houses.
